CFT Announces Expanded Effort to Invest in Neighborhoods
Communities Foundation of Texas (CFT) announced a new 5-year, $50 million commitment to investing in neighborhoods and housing as part of its strategic priorities to build a thriving community.

The 17th annual North Texas Giving Day sets new records as Communities Foundation of Texas (CFT) uplifts the generosity of North Texans. More than 94,000 North Texans gave $74.2 million to 3,500 local nonprofits
Champions of Bright Futures
CFT made an initial investment in City Year Dallas in 2015 with a $750,000 grant to launch its program in two schools. As the program expanded its reach to six schools, CFT remained a critical partner, providing ongoing support.

Communities Foundation of Texas is the largest community foundation in North Texas, serving Dallas and surrounding areas since 1953.
Communities Foundation of Texas runs North Texas Giving Day, the largest community-wide giving event in the Nation.
Educate Texas is also a featured initiative of Communities Foundation of Texas. Educate Texas leads programs, policy, and partnerships to make education more accessible for all to improve the overall health and wealth of Texas communities.
